Planned this outfit the night before, and woke up to a lot of rain. So much rain it knocked our power out a couple of times during the night. I decided to go ahead and wear what I'd planned anyway, although boots probably would have been nicer for walking. Luckily the rain dried up during the day and I managed to get some outside photos, after my poor attempt before I left for work. Left my hair wavy and natural as it was raining anyway :)

I think the scarf worked okay due to all the other brown tones in my outfit, what do you think?

This grey tee is one of my The Iconic sale purchases, it's super soft and comfortable. Was a little cold this morning to take the jacket off for photos though, I'll try get a better pic next time I wear it.

Had the perfect outfit planned for work today, until I realised that I had worn it before! Changed the shoes, skirt and bag and tucked the top in this time to make it look different. No excuse for wearing the same thing over again when I have a wardrobe full of clothes waiting to be worn, haha. Was quite happy to wear my skull scarf with the Dachshund print top, although it reads like an odd combination I think it worked well.

Received a new purchase too, another handbag!

Long weekend starts today! Had today off to relax. I went to the Reebonz Australia Brisbane sale this morning. You can find some photos from the day on facebook by clicking the image below, and I shared some photos on instagram too.

There seemed to be a lot more bags than the last sale, although I feel I say that every time, haha. There was certainly lots of bright bags this time around. There was a really good range of brands as well, even some Reebonz Vintage items from Louis Vuitton. The sale is open on Saturday too, at Brisbane Hilton, so check it out if you are nearby.

After dropping by the sale and not buying anything as I just got a handbag yesterday, I spent the afternoon with mum and Cooper. We went out for lunch to Wellington Point and sat by the sea, it was really nice and relaxing. Cooper enjoyed the day out as well, he was well enough to walk around the waterfront with us which was lovely. I always find nothing relaxes me more than sitting by the water for a while.

This jumper is one of my purchases from the Jeanswest 40% off sale back in May. It was a sunny but windy day so this was the perfect outfit.  Thought the burgundy of the pants and the red of the clutch would go well together.

I had been considering buying this knit and then when I caught up with my sister she showed me she had bought it and told me how much she liked it. So I had to get my own when the sale came around, of course. My sister and I have very similar tastes!

I'm not always quick to post about new sales, so I made a new page to contain all of the sales and coupon codes I know about, feel free to bookmark it! I post on twitter when I update it. Most recently it's had the Matches Fashion 50% off sale added. Check it out, they have some lovely Alexander McQueen scarves reduced.

This is another one of my Church Online team tees, I've worn one previously. It's a little big on me, but makes it even more comfortable to wear! Every year they come up with a new design, I'm pleased to see my collection build with each year I spend on the team.

Apart from working in the evening, didn't do much today. Enjoyed the slightly warmer weather in the afternoon and made sure to spend lots of time with Cooper. He's healing really well, thank you for all your kind comments on my previous post.

We had a lunch to celebrate our project success and catch up to some old colleagues who had left earlier in the project so I wore my favourite dress. Was such a lovely day and a great reward for all of the hard work.

I tried to do wavy hair again by braiding my hair overnight, it ended up looking great once it fully dried, but again, wet hair for photos. Because I pick my clothes the night before, I just have to getup and get dressed in the mornings. Doesn't leave me time to try fix my hair though, so I think I'll stop trying this braid thing, haha.

Very relaxed outfit for casual Friday today! Under the hoodie I'm wearing a team polo shirt that we were each presented with at the lunch on Thursday. It has a large logo on it that I can't really share on the blog. As it's cold in the mornings I usually cover up with a jacket, so this hoodie was a nice casual, comfortable alternative that had the added bonus of covering up the shirt nicely until I got to the office.

The Balenciaga velo seemed like the perfect bag choice, and had the added bonus of covering up the logo of my shirt on instagram! One of my favourite things about Balenciaga moto bags is how versatile they are - I wear them with dresses and heels or dressed down with jeans, they just work in any situation. :)

Please excuse my hair! I washed and plaited it the night before, intending to wake up with subtle waves. Instead, woke up with wet hair and no time to dry it before I went to work. It did dry into some nice waves later in the morning, but it is still really damp and dull in the photos!
Wearing my last new piece from my Glassons order back in mid-May. Glassons have a sale on now too, if you are looking for some affordable basics. Thought I would try something a little different today, and belted the top over the skirt instead of tucking it into the skirt. I think it worked well, and the belt was a nice pop of colour.

Had to work a bit of maroon into my outfit today with the State of Origin match tonight! This scarf was perfect. Although I don't watch footy, lots of people at work are quite into the game and you see people walking around wearing the shirts or maroon items. While it is unofficial casual day as everyone is wearing team shirts, I had to present at a meeting so wore a printed dress.

Only found out that Wittner made leather jackets when this beautiful blue was one posted on their instagram a while ago. I kept thinking about it and eventually ordered it, along with the leather jacket from Asos above. I usually have a difficult time finding nice leather jackets so I thought if I get two, I might get lucky with one of them and could return the one that didn't work. Of course I kept them both. The colour and leather on this jacket are amazing. Bags are my go-to splurge items, but I made an exception in this case. I'm so pleased with it! :)

Unfortunately, today we had a really important meeting this afternoon, I had forgotten about. Since we were asked to dress more formally than the usual casual Friday wear, my friend and I popped out at lunchtime to shop so I could get a jumper to cover up my bare shoulders with! :)

I had this top taken in a little at the tailor on the weekend so it fit perfectly. I even braved the cold to take a photo showing the gorgeous lace detail, it extends down the back too. It was a lovely gift from my mum. Added a blazer over the top for work, and when I went out for a birthday dinner in the evening I swapped the skirt for a warmer pair of skinny jeans.

This dress was another piece my sister gave me after her wardrobe clear out. I really like the floral print and ruffle top. I thought the pink and blue matched well with it, even the shoes, but Cooper's managed to cover them with his fluffy tail, haha!
My hair is tied up as I got absolutely drenched on the way to work after leaving my umbrella at home. I tried to think my messed up hair was "natural waves" as it dried but really it was just messy, so tied it back for the office.
