Not a good combo

This outfit seemed like a good idea in my head last night, but I put it on this morning and realised it wasn't quite right, with not a lot of time to fix it. Tried to fix it with a belt but changed my mind at the last minute. Felt uncomfortable all day at work.

Won't be wearing this top and skirt together again. The beading on the top made it sit awkwardly at the front and the zip down the back of the top meant it kept riding up. It was very difficult to keep in place as you can see by the wrinkles, think I should have kept the belt ;)

What I wore today:

Top: Just Jeans sequin front black tank
Necklace: Chanel (via Reebonz)
Bracelets: the usual
Skirt: French Connection plaid pencil skirt
Shoes: Rubi silver primo ballet flats
Bag: Balenciaga 2005 Magenta RH work

I covered up with a cardi in the office.

Conservative dress

Had a big meeting today to kick off the week so wore my most conservative dress. Low hemline, high neckline!

Of course I was able to brighten it up with my bag,scarf and some fun flats when I wasn't in the meeting ;)

Shoes: Marc by Marc Jacobs black patent mouse flats (swapped to plain black flats from under my desk at work)
Bag: Balenciaga 2005 Magenta RH work

Orange and purple

Have been wanting to try orange and purple together after seeing this amazing outfit from Sheila at Ephermera.

Got a chance to try today with an orange tee and purple bag.
