Nice casual Saturday outfit. I bought a couple of basics in The Iconic sale last week, this was one of them and I love it. So comfortable and perfect for the weekends. Thought the printed scarf would be nice with the stripes.

Was a lovely day weather-wise so walked to the stores to run errands and took Cooper to the groomers. He needed a trim, his fur was getting much longer and it was drawing more attention to the side of him that was shaved for his op. Now his fur is shorter it's a little harder to notice :)


Last worn: blue leopard print scarf, red jeans, Converse, Balenciaga sang clutch. First time I've worn this tee as it's a recent purchase.

Felt like something was missing from this outfit - maybe a necklace or scarf? Decided just to keep it simple though for a lazy Sunday. DH and I had planned to head to the beach with Cooper but the constant rain in the morning ruined our plans. Went out for lunch instead, and of course I had Church Online in the evening. Very similar accessories to the last time I wore this lovely jumper, sorry for the repetition! I think red pairs so nicely with the grey. Casual but warm outfit for spending the evening with the in-laws, having dinner and watching a movie. It was quite chilly so even Cooper has his knitted hoodie on! He had been shivering during the day as quite a bit of him was shaved after his operation. We've been putting his little shirts on when he looks cold.

Didn't need to carry much today, so wore my Marc by Marc Jacobs Karlie bag as a clutch. This grey Asos tee is perfect comfy weekend wear!

Just a nice lazy option for work on Wednesday - printed dress and nice bright bag. Although when I had to unexpectedly go to another office for a meeting I did wish I hadn't worn brand new shoes, haha. They've broken in nicely now.

This is one of two pairs of shoes I got in the 65% off sale Wittner had a week or so ago. I'll try get better pics next time I wear them, without Cooper's tail in the way!

It was a long day, and dark and rainy when I went to take photos, so another indoor shot. Yes, what I wore to the office on the weekend :( We had to come into the office to get more work done on a project. It felt very wrong going into work on a Saturday! Wore these pink jeans and pink accessories to add some cheerfulness to my look. I've always thought the pink leopard print was too loud for the office, but on a day without a dress code they were perfect. The thongs weren't an issue either - there were a few people running around barefoot for maximum comfort!

Bought these awesome purple skinnies when I went late night shopping after work with my mum and sister. I'd seen them in store and online a few times, but wasn't sure if I could justify another pair of jeans. When we saw them in store this week, they were only $30 so I finally caved and bought them. Such a nice purple, I'm so glad I got them! Dressed up a little with heels as I knew I wouldn't have to do much walking today.

Swapped the pencil skirt out for a pair of skinny jeans when I went out shopping in the evening and felt much more comfortable  Although I wore thongs to and from the office I wore these flats when I was at work, they stay under my desk for when I need a nice pair of flat black shoes. Managed to take this photo when I popped out the office for a bit of fresh air.

The rain wasn't going away by the time I got home in the evening, so had to take indoor photos. Just like when I started the blog! Only now the clothes rack is so weighed down it looks like it's falling on one side...and my shoe collection has expanded...haha. My push to get rid of most of my heels and replace all of my thongs with sandals and cute flats has meant I've run out of spaces for shoes.
Starting to think I should get up earlier in the morning and get photos then, as it's difficult to get good lighting at the end of the day. Really liked this outfit, just not the photos.

Tried to get a shot of my nails in the detail picture - got a free Ciate statement nail mani at lunch time. First time I've tried caviar polish, so I'm interested to see how it lasts! It's 'lemon fizz' I'm wearing, there is a better pic on instagram here.

A few showers on an otherwise sunny day, so added a scarf to keep warm. However the open toed sandals and a maxi dress were probably not the best ideas - the dress quickly got wet and weighed down with the rain, ended up having to change when I got home. Should just keep this maxi dress for dry days!

We had a very relaxing Good Friday, so wore a really casual outfit. It was nice and warm still, which is just what you want on a long weekend. I wear blue and pink together a lot, so thought I'd be a bit different and wear blue and purple together. I liked it, what do you think?

After being bitten badly by mozzies the past few days I opted for a maxi skirt today to try shield more of me, haha!
This tee is one of my favourite Threadless tees, it may even be one of the first I bought. You can see a close up of the text here. In one of my wardrobe clearouts I gave it and a few other tees to my sister. When she had a wardrobe clearout recently, I got it back! :) We also discovered that I had given her a tee and then ended up buying myself a replacement for it, but I'm sure that will come up another day. Can't remember the reason I gave this one away, but I'm glad I got it back and it has a funny story behind it now.

We had a very lazy Saturday! Spent some time tidying the house in preparation for a house guest and tackling the mess that is my wardrobe. I managed to add 3 items to the donate pile which is progress, but the amount of clothes I have and hardly ever wear is embarrassing. I thought that having an organised wardrobe would make it easier to see what I have and pack for my Melbourne trip, but all I ended up with was a mess of clothes, haha.

There was a bit of a stir at lunch time today - we were all kept inside the office as there was a gunman in Queen street in the Brisbane CBD. It was pretty scary at first, but the police handled it so well and kept everybody safe. We spent most of our lunch huddled round a few screens watching the news streams trying to find out more information. Very relived to see it end safely.

Unfortunately after breakfast this morning, the rain set in and ruined my plans to take tripod photos. So DH took these pictures after we picked Cooper up from the groomers in the afternoon, using the awning from the stores for protection from the rain.

The groomer gave Cooper a cute little purple bow in his hair after his haircut, matched quite nicely with my purple outfit!
